Over the last few months, we’ve been working on a new website for our Search & Filter plugin, launching in time for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into place.

The new website brings a much needed overhaul to our presence on the web – improving usability and clarity, whilst paving the way for further developments to come, as well as bringing everything up to date in terms of privacy and security.

Our support forums and website may be unavailable during the 24th – 30th (**edited) while make the move.

*UDPATE – some of the transfer has been more problematic that first imagined. So we’re looking to get our support forums up first, followed by the main site, hoping to have this complete on the 29th.  For any urgent enquiries please use our contact form.

*UPDATE 2 – we made it and we’re live 🙂

* UPDATE 3 – we’re working on sending emails to all our customers with info about the changes

What does this mean for you?

As you all know, the GDPR is coming in to effect on the 25th of May.

With the new website, will come some extra tools and settings allowing you to control your data in compliance with the new regulations.

We’ll be implementing a new privacy policy and cookie policy.

Your accounts and account data will moved “as is” over to our new servers and website – searchandfilter.com.

All backups and records of your accounts will be deleted from designsandcode.com.

Just to be clear, we take your privacy seriously and never share your account data with anyone.

We’ll also be sending you an email…

We will be sending you an email informing you of the updates to S&F.  In addition to that, we will also be asking for your consent to receive further emails from us.  We know we haven’t been sending many of these, but plan to better communicate with you our goals and plans for the Search & Filter plugin.

You will of course still receive essential account related service emails.

The email will also cover all the above, so fear not, you’ll be hearing from us directly soon.

A final note

All the technical and legal stuff aside, we thank you for continuing to support Search & Filter.  We’ve got some exciting developments coming up in version 3 of our plugin we can’t wait to share with you.

  1. Tried to renew my license key but my login info is not recognised even after I reset the password. Is it due to the move? Can you help as I don’t want to lose the 20% discount for existing users. Thanks

We’ve pushed the big red button, the site should be live in the next hour or two 🙂

Apologies, last change of schedule, we’re going live on the 30th – we’ve finally (just now) managed to finish the migration of our databases but its too late to make the switch live. I’ll be testing everything tomorrow, and making the final tweaks then pushing live.

    Thanks

  4. Hi,

I’m trying to download a latest plugin version but I’m unable to login. Can you please take a look at that and tell me how can I get the latest plugin version.

    Thanks!

When will the support desk be in place again? New site isn’t life yet and when I want to login on the old website to react on a response on a ticket I sent, it shows that the website is under maintenance.
