    Hello,

When I fill out the search field with a word, and then hit the enter key, the word I typed disappears and there is no search performed.

Is there a configuration I’m missing to allow the usage of the enter key for starting the search? Or is this a bug?

I hope you can shed some light on this. Thanks in advance!

Are you able to send me a live link/URL to your search page so I can take a look?

    Hi

When I open the page inspector and look in the console, I see:

ReferenceError: event is not defined[Learn More] custom-scripts.js:1098:2

That might be the cause. It appears to be a theme file?

Pressing enter on a form does not necessarily submit it, especially if you do not have an actual submit button, and you have other buttons in the form, such as a reset. One of those buttons can be triggered instead.

You can add the button, and then use CSS to hide it.
